This ride was a semi-benefit for Brian Montgomery, a rider injured during a trip to Arkansas the prior week. Donations collected will be disbursed to he and his girlfriend to help defray medical costs or whatever they choose to use it for. We wish him all the best in his recovery from a very serious accident.
The group met up at the New Waverly Food Mart for a 9:15 start time.

Don't let the Max Speed upset you. Because of the sequence of GPS reporting
points, distances around curves, etc, the max speed can easily be off by quite a
bit. The distance covered was from the start of the run in New Waverly to
Scott's house in Huntsville. Add another 80 miles to that for door-to-door to my
place.
Scott has been teased about advocating certain products for the cleaning of
face shields, yet always seems to get caught at gas stations using their
squeegees to clean his own. :-)
